The Machine Learning Lab at the UCLA Neurosurgery Department focuses on creating and improving tools for spine analysis. We have created many databases of a variety of medical images along with segmentations of specific anatomical regions that we validated. These databases were used to train and validate our machine learning algorithms.
In addition, I developed a prototype web application to host our algorithm. Using Golang, Python, SQL, and HTML/CSS/JS, I designed front end and back end. Users would create an account, upload .NII medical images, view them, and run segmentation algorithms. Due to the necessity of patient privacy, I implemented security techniques. This web app is not available to the public yet.
